These photos show B-52G (top photo) and B-52H (middle photo) of the 93rd Bombardment Wing pictured at Castle AFB in August 1975.
The 93rd was a crew training unit based at Castle AFB operating B-52Gs and B-52Hs at that time.
Security condition was very tight at this SAC base and I was only permitted to photograph only one B-52G and only one B-52H.
They carried the SAC badge on the left side of the nose and the 93rd BW badge on the right side of the nose.
The B-52 units (328/329BS) were inactivated in 1995 with the closure of Castle AFB.

1975年8月に加州キャスルAFBで撮影した93rd Bombardment WingのB-52G（上段写真）及びB-52H（中下段三枚）です。
ここはSACの基地なので、写真撮影には色々な制限が有りました。沢山並んでいるB-52の中で撮影許可が取れたのはここに写っているたった二機でした。
ほぼ同じ角度で写した"G"型と"H"型の写真を上に並べましたので、この当時の両型の外観上の相違点を良く見比べられます。
顕著な相違点としては（１）エンジンポッド、（２）尾部砲塔周辺、（３）機首の出っ張りの有無などです。
B-52の着陸後のタキシングを目の前数十メートルで見たのですが、主翼がタポンタポンに揺れていて、翼端の補助輪が左右にギッタン・バッコンしておりビックリしました。
キャッスルのB-52部隊は訓練部隊でしたが、1995年のキャッスル閉鎖に伴い解隊されました。
機首のエンブレムは左側面がSAC、右側面が93BWのものです。

Top photo shows a B-52H of 325th BS, 92nd Wing (Fairchild AFB) displayed at Davis-Monthan airshow in 1993.
The tail stripe was "blue".
Bottom photo shows a B-52G of 93rd Operations Group (93rd BW, Castle AFB) displayed at March air show in California in 1993.
Please note the "93rd OG" marking on the fin together with the tail code "CA" representing "Castle" and/or "California"??
The tail stripe was "blue".
The "ACC"(Air Comat Command) badge appears on the fin on both of the above photos.

SACが解体されて、TACと共にAACに改編されると、B-52にも従来の戦術機と同じようにテールコードとACCバッジ（TACと同じ）が尾翼に付けられました。
上段の写真は1993年のデビスモンサン・エアショー、下段の写真は同じ1993年のマーチ・エアショーに地上展示されたB-52H（上）とB-52G（下）です。
いずれもエアショー（土・日）の前日金曜日に基地広報部から撮影許可を取って、見学者がいない状態で展示機の写真を撮りました。
現地の多くの写真マニアはその様にして前日に写真を撮っていました。但し、金曜日の夕刻に飛来する展示機もあり、その場合は夕日を浴びた黄色っぽい写真になってしまいます。
下写真のB-52Gは少し黄色っぽくなっていますね。
いずれの写真の機体もフィンバンドは青です。また下段写真のB-52Gの尾翼には（見づらいですが）"93rd OG" が大きく書き込まれています。
本機のテールコード"CA"は（ホームベースの）Castleの意味に"California"の意味もかけているのかも知れません。
本ページのトップにも93BW（キャッスルAFB）のB-52Gの写真を貼りましたが、その当時と比べて"G"型にも機首側面や下面に『コブ』が追加装備されています。
上段写真のテールコード"FC"はホームベースの"Fairchild"からきているようです。この当時は尾部にしっかりバルカン砲が付いています。

This photo shows a B-52H of the 5th Bomb Wing (Minot AFB) making its fly pass over Osan AB, South Korea in October 2012.
The aircraft was flown from Andersen AFB Guam to Osan for the airshow.
It carried the tail code "MT" for Minot.
Please note the targeting pod (?) under the right wing between inboard/outboard engine pods.

2012年のオーサン・エアショーで飛行展示をする5th Bomb Wing (Minot AFB)のB-52Hです。
ちょっと隠れていますが、テールコードはMinotを意味する"MT"です。
右翼の両エンジンポッド間にぶら下がっているポッドはTargetingポッドでしょうか？
お尻のバルカン砲は除去されていますね。

These photos show EB-57Es of the 556th Reconnaissance Squadron, 347th TFW based at Yokota.
Several EB-57Es were operated by the 556th with the tail code "GT".
They disappeared from Yokota in 1971.

1970年前後に良く横田で飛んでいた556RS/347TFWのEB-57Eです。最上段はR/W18のファイナル（箱根ヶ崎側）で写したもの。
中段はR/W36に着陸して横田ドライブイン前で誘導路に入ったところ。下段はその直後の撮影でランプに向かうところです。
多くの皆様も同じ様な写真を撮られたと思います。

These photos show RB-57Fs of the 56th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron (Military Airlift Command) based at Yokota.
Several RB-57Fs were operated by the 56th and they carried a black pod to collect nuclear dust under the fuselage (lower right of the mid-fuselage) as shown on the photos.
Please note that the "Weather" band on the fin was partially missing on the rudder side as shown on the bottom photo.
The RB-57Fs disappeared from Yokota around 1972.

1960年代後半から70年代初頭にかけて良く横田で飛んでいた56WRS(MAC)のRB-57Fです。
胴体中央の下面左側に黒っぽい集塵ポッドを装備しています。
最下段の写真では"WEATHER"のフィンバンドが途中で途切れて、ラダー側に掛かっていません。
モデラー目線で言えば、主翼下面はかなりピカピカのようです。補助ジェットエンジンのポッドが主翼下面に綺麗に反射し写り込んでいます。

Both photos above show RB-57F of the 56th WRS taxing on the east side of Yokota Air Base.
Please note that the RB-57F shown on the top photo did NOT carry jet engine pods under the wing.
You can find a C-54 and a C-97 parked on the east ramp in the background on the top photo.
You can also find a couple of F-4s (coded "UP" and "ZG") parked on the east ramp in the background of the bottom photo.

いずれも横田の東ランプから離陸のためタキシングしてくるRB-57Fです。
上段の写真に写る機体では主翼下の補助エンジンポッドを外しています。当時は比較的珍しかったと記憶しています。
またこの写真では胴体下の集塵ポッドの取付位置や角度が良くわかります。
いずれの写真にも、その背景には懐かしい機体が写っていますね。
上段の写真ではC-54とC-97が、また下段の写真では"UP"と"ZG"のF-4が背景に写り込んでいます。

These photos show an EB-66E of the 19th Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (18th TFW at Kadena AB) taxing to the R/W #18 at Yokota Air Base.
The 19th were operated from Kadena, Okinawa with "ZT" coded EB-66Es from 1968 and the unit inactivated on 30OCT70,
it was only four months after I took the photos above.
The EB-57E was a very rare visitor to Yokota, so you can imagine how happy I was when I pictired these photos.

ここに三枚もの写真を貼り付けましたが、小生がEB-66Eを撮れたのは、このたった一回だけです。
あまりにも嬉しかったので、横田ドライブイン前でタキシング（上と中写真）を撮った後、
大急ぎで滑走路エンド側に走って、滑走路脇で離陸前点検中の同機（最下段の写真）を撮りました。
19TEWSは1968年末頃から嘉手納でEB-66Eの運用を始めたようですが、活動期間は短く30OCT70（上の写真を撮った四ヶ月後）には解隊されたようです。

Top photo shows a B-1B of the 28th Bomb Wing (from Ellsworth AFB) displayed at Norton airshow in March 1990.
Please note the nose art of "Iron Eagle".
After the SAC/TAC were reorganized and became Air Combat Command in 1992, the B-1Bs of the 28BW carried the tail-code "EL".
Bottom photo shows a B-1B of the 319th Bomb Wing (from Grand Forks AFB) taxing on the ramp at March AFB for attending the airshow scheduled on the following day of 30OCT93.
The 319BW converted from B-52 to B-1B during 1986-87, and the Air Force redesignated the 319th Bomb Wing as the 319th Air Refueling Wing with KC-135R in 1993.
Both of the above photos were taken on Friday, the day before the air show weekend.

上段の写真は1990年3月の加州ノートンAFBのエアショーに展示するため、エルスワースAFB（28th BW）から飛来したB-1B "IRON EAGLE"です。
カラースキームはこの当時の二色迷彩です。1992年にSAC/TACがACCとして再編された後は、同隊のB-1Bに"EL"のテールコードが書き込まれました。
下段の写真は1993年10月の加州マーチAFBのエアショーに展示するため、グランド・フォークスAFBから飛来した319th BWのB-1Bです。
同隊はKC-135R装備の空中給油航空団に改編するため、01OCT93付けで部隊呼称を319th Bomb Wingから319th Air Refueling Wingに変更しているので、
この写真を撮った29OCT93時点では既に319ARWの所属機となっていたはずです。
二枚の写真ともエアショー前日の金曜日に撮影許可を取って、外来展示機を撮りました。
下段の写真は夕刻に飛来して展示スポットへタキシング中のところを撮影しました。
よって、夕日の影響で全体に黄色っぽくなってしまいました。

The 28BS badge is shown on the nose in low-bisibility fashion.
On 01OCT93, the 96th Bomb Wing inactivated and replaced by the 7th Bomb Wing.

機首に小さ目のノーズアート（？）が描かれていますが、拡大写真を紛失したので貼り付けられません。残念。

テールコード"DY"のB-1B航空団は当初"96th"BWでしたが、01OCT93付けで"7th"BWに名称（航空団番号）が変わりました。
