These photos show F-5Bs of 425th Tactical Fighter Training Squadron, 58th TFTW pictured at transit ramp of Luke AFB in August 1975.
The 425th was based at Williams AFB near Luke AFB, but the unit was controlled under the 58th TFTW headquartered at Luke.
Fortunately enough, I was able to photograph both silver and camouflaged F-5Bs (one each) at Luke at that time.
Please note.....(1) the "green" tail stripe on the both aircraft, and (2) the 425TFTS badge, shown on the photo at left, appeared on the nose of the both aircraft.

1975年にLuke AFBの外来機ランプで撮影した425th Tactical Fighter Training Squadron, 58th TFTWのF-5Bです。
この時は上写真の二機のF-5BがLukeに飛来していましたが、幸運にもシルバーの機体とベトナム迷彩の機体を一機づつ撮影できました。
425TFTSはルーク基地所在の58TFTWの隷下飛行隊ですが、ホームベースはルーク基地に程近いWilliams AFBです。
迷彩のF-5Bには当時ルークにいたF-4Cと同じ"LA"のテールコードを付けています。
両機共に尾翼にはTACエンブレムと緑のテールストライプを付けていました。
また、両機の機首には425TFTSのバッジ（小写真）が付いています。

This photo shows a F-5E "74-01575" of 26th Aggressor Squadron, 3rd TFW (Clark AB, Philippines) in blue/grey aggressor camouflage, which was displayed at Misawa airshow in 1985.
F-5s were seldom seen in main-land Japan.

小生が日本で撮影したF-5は残念ながらこの一機だけでした。

I'm not interested in Stealth aircraft, but I still have a couple of photos of the F-22 Raptor.
Top photo was taken at Yokota airshow in August 2012 and the bottom one at Nellis airshow in November 2012.
Please note the checkered tail stripe shown on the bottom photo.

All these photos show OV-10As of 19th Tactical Air Support Squadron, 51st CW/TFW (HQ at Osan AB, ROK), which I photographed at various airshows in Japan during 1980-85.
Fin caps of all four OV-10As shown above were painted in blue.
Please note.....(1) the PACAF badges shown on middle two photos were full-color, while the one on the bottom photo was in low-visibility fashion and
(2) they carried low visibility national insignia on the fuselage in three different design/style, especially the one shown on the top photo carried the "red" bar,
(3) the bottom photo shows the fuel tank under the wing.

いずれも横田や三沢の公開日に地上展示された19th Tactical Air Support SquadronのOV-10Aです。撮影期間は1980-1985年です。
いずれの機体もフィンキャップは部隊カラーの青に塗られています。
胴体の国籍マークは上四枚の写真の中で三種類の異なったデザイン仕様の物が付けられています。特に最上段の写真の機体は国籍マークに赤色帯が使われています。
尾翼のPACAFバッジですが、中二枚の写真ではフルカラーのエンブレムが貼られていますが、最下段の機体ではロービジに変更されています。
最下段の写真の機体だけは主翼下に増槽タンクを付けています。

This is another photo of 19TASS OV-10A in Green (Lizard) camouflage displayed at Hyakuri airshow in 1985.
The white stain (vertical line) appeared on the vertical tail could be a bird droppings???

これは1985年に百里の航空祭で展示されたリザード迷彩の19TASSのOV-10Aです。前出の全面グレーのOV-10Aに比べると、胴体の国籍マークがかなり小さくなりました。
尾翼に縦に付いている白い汚れ（？）は鳥のフンですかねえ？？いつか小生のプラモにも付けてみたいです。

These photos show U-2s of 9th (Reconnaissance) Wing photographed at Yokota and Osan.
The U-2s seen in the Far East Area during the 1990s and after were flown from Osan AB, South Korea in most cases.
The U-2S shown in the middle photo carried tail code "BB" and the unit designation "9 OG" in red shadowed in white.

This SR-71 "64-17975" made its first flight on 13APR67 and its last flight on 28FEB90.
Above photo shows the SR-71 "64-17975" displayed at March airshow in California in October 1993, it had been three years since the last flight was made.
This aircraft is now displayed at March Field Air Museum, and I took the photo at left at the museum in 2012.

上の写真は1993年のマーチ・エアショーで撮影したSR-71 "64-17975"です。当機は13APR67に初飛行を行い、最終飛行は28FEB90です。
と言うことは、上の写真は本機が現役を退いてから約三年経過後に撮影したものです。
本機は現在マーチ基地に隣接するMarch Field Air Museumに屋内展示されており、小写真は2012年に博物館内で撮影した同機です。

These photos show a UH-1P "65-7927" of 475th Air Base Wing based at Yokota.
Top photo was taken at Yokota airshow in 1977, and the remainning photos were taken at Iruma airshow in 1978.
Bottom left photo shows a placard of "The Orient Express" placed on the left side of the fuselage (between cockpit & cabin doors),
and the bottom left photo shows the PACAF badge on the tail.

70年代中盤から末頃まで横田のベースフライト（475ABW）として飛んでいたベトナム迷彩のUH-1Pです。
最上段の写真は1977年の横田公開日に、その他の写真は翌78年の入間航空祭で展示された"65-7927"号機です。
下段左の小写真は同機の左側面（操縦席ドアの直ぐ後ろ）に付けられた"The Orient Express"のプラカードです。

These photos show Yokota-based UH-1Ns of 475th Air Base Wing.
In 1980, Yokota's UH-1Ps in Vietnam camouflage were replaced with four (or so) UH-1Ns in grey paint scheme with white roof.
These photos were taken at Yokota airshow in 1983 (top photo) and 1984 (middle/bottom).

恐らく四機ぐらいいたと思います。その当時は横田の外撮りからとっくに卒業しており、年一回の公開日に展示機を撮るだけでした。

These photos show beautifully painted UH-1N of 6510 Test Wing which I photographed at Edwards in 1991.
Tail stripe was dark blue outlined in white with white "X X X X".
Please note the two emblems appeared on the fuselage side shown on the photo at left, the "Air Force Systems Command" badge on the left and the "6510th Test Wing" badge on the right.

赤白のキレイな塗装が目を引くエドワーズAFB（6510TW）のUH-1Nです。
尾部には同隊のテスト機と同様、紺帯に白のＸＸＸＸを書き込んだテールストライプと、"ED"のテールコードを描いています。
小写真に見られる二つのエンブレムは、左側が"Air Force Systems Command"の、右側が"6510th Test Wing"のバッジです。

Above photo shows a HH-3E of ex-71st Special Operations Squadron (AFRES) displayed at Davis-Monthan airshow in 1993.
This HH-3E was sent to King Fahd IAP, Saudi Arabia, during the Gulf War and applied a black mission mark (camel) on the nose as shown on the photo.
The aircraft was sent to AMARC in November 1992, and the above photo was taken in the following year (1993).
Please note the AMARC PCN number "HH043" in white on the nose.
This aircraft was later sold to the Tunisian Republic Air Force in 1995.

本機は湾岸戦争にも参加した、元71st Special Operations Squadron（AFRES）のHH-3Eです。
機首には黒いラクダのミッションマークも残されています。
湾岸戦争当時はサウジアラビアのKing Fahd IAPをベースとしていました。
米本土に戻ってからは09NOV92にAMARC（ボーンヤード）に送られました。
上の写真はその翌年（1993）のデビスモンサン・エアショーに展示された機体です。
よって、機首にはAMARCの管理番号（PCN）である"HH043"が白で書き込まれています。
同機は1995年にチュニジア空軍へ売却されて、アフリカの地で再活用されたようです。
