T-28 Trojan is one of my favourite aircraft type and I was so happy to know that the Roden released the new kit of T-28 in 1/48 scale
some time ago. When I opened the box of the kit for the first time, I was so glad to see its fine molding. I was so excited with the
box art and the decals in the kit, because I did photograph the same T-28B (BuNo.137692 coded "KB") as the one on the bos art at Kaneohe
Bay in 1977. So, I automatically decided to finish this Kaneohe markings. I took the following photos at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii on 11MAY77.
まさかT-28の1/48キットが新たにリリースされるとは夢にも思わなかったので、ローデンから発売された時は大いに喜びました。また、更に
嬉しかったのは、箱絵の機体（カネオヘのBuNo.137692)です。それは1977年に小生が新婚旅行でハワイへ行った時に、カネオヘで写していた
機体と同じだったからです。よって、自動的にこのプラモはカネオヘのマーキングで仕上げることとなりました。下の写真は11MAY77にカネオヘ
で写したものです。キットの箱絵との違いはモデックスの"４"がこの時点では描かれていませんでした。
Apart from the kit itself, I purchased some after market parts such as (1) Eduard photo etched parts, (2) Aires resin parts for Cockpit,
(3) Quickboost resin parts for speed brake and (4) Metal landing gears from SAC. At the bottom of this page, you can find some youtube video
clips which show you the process of my constuction of this T-28B model. The video clips explain how I built this kit and how I fix the
troublesome areas of this kit.
