At the time of my visit to the Midway museum (Sept.2010),
the displaied RA-5C looked so clean and new and I enjoyed
taking photographes of this good looking a/c.
小生がこのMidway博物館を最後に訪問した2010年９月時点では
RA-5Cがきれいに塗装された状態で展示されており、全体の
保存状態も大変良好と見受けられました。

Empire State Aerospace Museum

With kind support of the museum staff, I had a chance to
climb up onto the fuselage with my camera and photograph
all details of upper surfaces of the fuselage and the wing.
It is my pleasure to show them to you on this page.
博物館の説明員のご好意により、RA-5Cの背中に乗せていただきました。
右水平尾翼の近くに置かれたベンチ（左写真参照）からその尾翼に
よじ登り、後ろから胴体に乗り移りました。
胴体の上は複雑にパネルラインが走っており、またリベットの並びにも
興味を持ちました。この博物館を去る時に『いつかトラペのRA-5Cの
モールド(パネルライン)を全部埋めて、この写真の通りに全部彫り直そう！』なんて考えましたが、まだ実現していません。

National Naval Aviation Museum

It was my first opportunity to photograph a RA-5C with
its outer wings in folding position. So, I concentrated
on taking photos of wing fold details. As you can see from
the photo on the left, there were so many cars parked around
the RA-5C, simply because it was an open day of NAS Pensacola
and the Blue Angeles was about to take off when this was taken.
ペンサコラ基地のエアショーを見学した後、隣の海軍航空博物館へ
行きました。そんなことでRA-5Cの周りは見学者の車で埋め尽くされ
ています（左写真）。ここで一番嬉しかった事は、このRA-5Cが翼を
折った状態で展示されていたことです。小生は初めてRA-5Cの折り畳み部の細部写真を撮れました。

Patuxent River Naval Air Museum

This Pax River RA-5C was preserved in very good condition when
I photographed it back in 2006. The uniqueness of this RA-5C was
that the large areas of upper surfaces on the wing was painted
in orange-red as seen on the photos below. I'd like to show you
some photos of the upper surface details of this Pax River Vigilante.
NAS Pax Riverに隣接してこの博物館があります。展示機は皆Pax River
の機体らしく翼や胴体の一部が赤に塗られています。そこで写した翼と
胴体の上面写真のみ以下に貼らしてもらいます。これらは胴体の上に
乗って写したものではありません。

Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum

As you can see from a photo at left, this RA-5C (in Pueblo, Colorado) was displayed with its outboard wing spoilers in open position.
It was a rare opportunity for me to photograph the spoilers in open position, so I uploaded some of the spoiler photos as shown below.
コロラド州プエブロの博物館でこのRA-5Cを撮影しました。左写真の通り、左翼の最外側の一対のスポイラーが何とオープン状態で展示されていたので、
これは珍しいと思い上面と下面からスポイラーのみ撮影しました。
