Blackburn Buccaneer S Mk.2B

#1) Gulf War Buccaneers

I photographed the following three Buccaneers painted in "Desert Pink" overall at Aviation museums in England in June/July 2014. The following walk-around photos are combination of these three Gulf War Buccaneers (XX889, XX901, XW547). I put the serial numbers superimposed on each and every photo for your reference.
2014年夏に英国各地の航空博物館でデザート・ピンクの塗装を残した以下3機の湾岸戦争参加機を撮影しました。本ページにはこれら3機(XX889, XX901, XW547)の細部写真を取り混ぜて掲載しています。各写真には機体のシリアルを記載しました。

The plane nickname "Longmorn" during the Gulf War was removed (painted out) unfortunately, but the plane was still maintained in VERY good condition and it was still taxiable !! The bomb door was fully rotated when I pictured it.

湾岸戦争当時の本機のニックネーム"Longmorn"は残念ながら機首右側面から消されていましたが、本機はまだタキシング可能な状態に整備されていました。また、胴体下の爆弾倉ドアは開いて（回転して）おり、内部を撮影できました。

The plane nickname "The Flying Mermaid" during the Gulf War was still remained on the portside of the nose. The plane was displayed with its bomb door fully rotated and the fuel tank was seen in the bomb bay.

湾岸戦争当時の本機のニックネーム"The Flying Mermaid"は機首右側面に残されています。また、胴体下の爆弾倉ドアは開いて（回転して）おり、内部に燃料タンクが装着されていました。

The nose art during the Gulf War was still remained on the port-side of the nose, but it was slightly modified from the original one. The plane was still preserved in good condition with its original paint.

湾岸戦争当時のノーズアートは残されていますが、お姉さんの胸は薄いベールで隠されています。それ以外は湾岸戦争当時の塗装がそのまま保存されています。残念ながら暗い展示館にお尻を向けて展示されており、細部写真を撮るには大変不都合でした。

#2) Buccaneers in NATO (Gray/Green) camouflage

I photographed the following three Buccaneers painted in the NATO's gray/green camouflage at Aviation museums in England in June/July 2014. The following walk-around photos are combination of these three Buccaneers (XW544, XX900, XV865). I put the serial numbers superimposed on each and every photo for your reference.
2014年夏に英国の航空博物館でNATO標準迷彩（グレーとグリーン）に塗られた3機のバッカニアを撮影しました。本ページにはこれら3機(XW544, XX900, XV865)の細部写真を取り混ぜて掲載しています。各写真には機体のシリアルを記載しました。

This "XW544" was still maintained in VERY good conditions and it was still taxiable when I pictured it !!

左写真の如く、本機は計3機のバッカニアの真ん中に並んで駐機していました。当機の右には英海軍カラーで保存されているバッカニアが駐機しています。本機は両隣のバッカニアと同様まだタキシング可能な状態で保存されていました。

This "XX900" was also maintained in taxiable conditions when I pictured it, even though the camouflage paint was weathered !! I had a permission to sit on the cockpit and walk on the fuselage of this aircraft.

この機体の塗装は少し退色が進んでいますが、タキシング可能な状態に整備、保存されています。小生はこの機体のコックピット及び胴体の上に乗せてもらえたので、コックピットや機体上面の写真も撮れました。
