I took a lot of walk-around photos of the Cutlass BuNo.129655 at Naval Aviation Museum at NAS.Pensacola, Florida in August 2016.
The Cutlass was displayed in VERY good condition with clean and shiny external surfaces.
I want to mention a little bit about a photo shown at above right.
I met an woman who was doing the mopping over the Cutlass by using a large mop shown on the photo at above right.
I impressed the cleanness of the displayed aircraft in the museum, and I expressed to her my great appreciation to her daily hard efforts to clean up the aircraft.
I do hope she is doing the same efforts even today and I can see her again in the museum in the near future.
2016年８月にNational Museum of Naval Aviationを訪問し、３日間ゆっくり細部写真を撮りました。
その内の１機がこのカットラスです。
とにかくここの展示エリアの機体はみんなピカピカで素晴らしい保存状態でした。
ホコリだらけの展示機が多い一般の博物館の中で、ペンサコラの機体は飛び抜けて清掃が行き届いていました。
それに気が付いたのは、大きなモップを持った清掃のオバサンがカットラスの機体表面を一生懸命モップ掛けしていたからです。
毎日展示機を清掃しているとのことです。勿論、このオバサンには最大限の謝意をお伝えました。とても喜んでいました。
