I photographed a couple of F11F-1 Tigers at Yanks Air Museum(CA) and at National Naval Aviation Museum(FL) as shown on the photos above.
Both aircraft were preserved and displayed in very good condition with clean and shiny surfaces.
The Pensacola aircraft (see photo at above right) was displayed with its outboard wing folded down, so I was able to photograph details of the wing fold mechanism.
今までに２機のF11F-1タイガーの細部写真を撮りました。１機はチノのYanks Air Museumで2013年に撮影し、もう一機はペンサコーラの海軍航空博物館で2016年に撮影しました。
以下にそれらの写真を取り混ぜて掲載致します。機体の保存状態はいずれの機体もとても素晴らしくて、機体表面の清掃も行き届いていました。
幸いにしてペンサコーラの機体は主翼先端が下に折りたたまれており、折畳み部のメカ細部も撮影することができました。
