This ROCAF F-5E is preserved in very good conditions at Yanks
Air Museum in California. An explanation board placed in front of the F-5E says "the a/c is airworthy and as original". As you
can see from the following photos, all the markings and stencils
in chinese characters are retained in its original fashion.
この元台湾空軍のF-5EはチノのYanks Air Museumに大切に保管
されています。本機の脇には"the a/c is airworthy and as original"
と書かれた表示版が置かれていて、本当に飛行可能状態なのかはかなり疑問ですが、それでも塗装やマーキングは現役当時
そのままに保管されていることがわかります。小生が台湾空軍機を
間近に見たのはこの時が初めてでしたが、ステンシル類は漢字で
ビッシリ書き込まれており、これはオリジナルに間違いないと確信した次第です。機関砲や一部計器類は取り外されていますが、
空気取入口や外部アンテナ類などはカバーで保護されており、『その内飛ばすぞ！』と言う意気込みを感じました。

I took walk around photos of this F-5F which was displayed
at Osan airshow in October 2012. The F-5F was in service
with the 205th (Flight Training) Sqdn of the 18th Fighter Wing.
本機は2012年の烏山エアショーに地上展示されていた205th
FTS/18FWのF-5Fです。
