I took the following walk-around photos at "Wings over the Rockies Air Museum" in Denver, Colorado in August 2013.
The aircraft was preserved and displayed in very good condition.
It was displayed with its canopy in open position and fortunately I was able to photograph cockpit details, which was also preserved in very good condition.

機体は非常に良好な状態で保存・展示されており、これまた状態の良い操縦席内部も撮影できました。

#2) U.S.Navy QF-86H (s/n. 53-1351)

I took the following walk-around photos at "Planes of Fame Air Museum" in Chino, California in 2013.
QF-86H was a remotely piloted drone to serve as a missile testing target.
The missile symbols painted on the nose of this plane appear to donate occasions on which it successfully dodged missiles fired at it.
Camouflage paint was heavily weathered under the strong California sunshine.
加州チノの"Planes of Fame Air Museum"で2013年8月に撮影した、元米海軍チャイナ・レークのQF-86Hです。
機首には九つのミサイルのマークが描かれていますが、標的機として飛行して9回のミサイル発射を受け、そこから生き延びたことを表しているようです。
本機は博物館で一回塗装を塗り直されたそうですが、それでもカリフォルニアの直射日光の下で長らく屋外展示（と言うか野ざらし状態）されたため、塗装の退色は激しいです。
また、翼や胴体の上面には砂漠の砂がうっすらと被っているようです。
ドローン機用として装備された機首や胴体上下面のアンテナは取り外されています。
