I took these walk-around photos at Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona in 2011.
The museum website explains that this RF-101C carriies markings for the 186th TRG, Mississippi ANG.
So, most likely this aircraft was operated by the Mississippi ANG before it was retired from active service.
This aircraft was preserved in fairly good condition even though all camouflage colors were weathered badly.
2011年11月にアリゾナ州ツーソンのピマ航空博物館で撮影したRF-101C "56-0214"です。
博物館のサイトを見ると、本機はミシシッピーANG、186TRGのマーキングを施していると書いてありますが、
部隊を特定できるマーキング（州名等）は有りません。
同隊はRF-101Cの最後の部隊であり、1978年にRF-4Cへ機種改変しているため、
お役御免になった後、すぐにここの博物館に来たのではないかと想像します。

1) RF-101C, s/n.56-0229

I took these walk-around photos at "Museum of Aviation" in Warner Robins, Georgia in 2005.
As you can see from the photos, this aircraft carried the national roundel of ROCAF (Taiwanese Air Force)
with the USAF serial 41518(54-1518) and the Taiwanese serial "5656" on the left side of the vertical fin.
Actually, RF-101A "54-1518" was transferred to ROCAF in 1961 and carried the ROKAF serial "5656".
However, this aircraft was shot down and lost over mainland China on 18MAR65.
According to the museum's website, this aircraft is not an ex-ROCAF RF-101A, but a RF-101C with the serial number "56-0229", which was shown on the right surface of the vertial tail.
This RF-101C "56-0229" had been operated by the Mississippii ANG (186th TRG) until the unit was re-equipped with RF-4C in 1978,
and the aircraft was sent to AMARC on 06OCT78.
The aircraft was transferred to the museum in 1992.
This aircraft was then painted in the ROCAF markings and it is dedicated to pilots who flew the Voodoos delivered to Taiwan in 1959 under Project Boom-Town.
This aircraft was painted overall silver by the museum, and you can clearly see panel lines and rivet lines on the surfaces.
2005年8月にジョージア州ロビンス空軍基地に隣接する航空博物館で撮影したRF-101C "56-0229"です。
この時はまだネガカラー・フィルムを使って撮影していたので、発色が悪くて申し訳有りません。
しかし、機体全面が銀色に塗装されているため、パネルラインやリベット/ネジ類が浮き出るように鮮明に見えます。
当機の垂直尾翼には左右で別々のシリアルが表示されています。
何故だろうと思い少し調べてみましたが、以下のことが判明しました。
左面のシリアルは41518(54-1518)と台湾空軍のシリアル5656が記入されています。このシリアルは"C"型ではなくRF-101Aのシリアルで、1961年に台湾へ供与されていました。
そして、18MAR65に中国本土で撃墜されています。
右面のシリアルは"56-0229"で、その機体は1958年にUSAFへ納入されたRF-101Cでした。
その機体の最後のご奉公は、前出のRF-101Cと同じミシシッピーANG(186th TRG)で、同隊がRF-4Cに機種改変した1978年に現役を退き、06OCT78にAMARC入りしています。
その後、ここの博物館が1992年にこの機体を引き取り、前述のRF-101Aのシリアルを左面に書き込んだということでした。
博物館側の説明では多くの犠牲者を出した台湾空軍のRF-101Aパイロットに捧げるために、台湾空軍のマーキングを施したそうです。
