I took a lot of walk-around photos of the Skyray BuNo.134806 at Naval Aviation Museum at NAS.Pensacola, Florida in August 2016.
The Skyray was displayed in VERY good condition with clean and shiny external surfaces.
As you can see from photos shown above, a blue Corsair is displayed right above the Skyray, and so the nose section of the Skyray is quite dark.
So, I'm afraid the details of the nose section are not clearly captured.
2016年８月にNational Museum of Naval Aviationを訪問し、３日間ゆっくり細部写真を撮りました。
その内の１機がこのスカイレイです。
このスカイレイを含み、ここの展示エリアの機体はみんなピカピカで素晴らしい保存状態でした。
ひとつ残念だったのは、スカイレイの機首の真上に覆いかぶさるようにコルセアが吊り下げられていたため（上写真参照）、
スカイレイの前側１／３がかなり暗くなっていました。よって、その部分の細部（パネルライン等）がうまく写真に捉えにくかったのがちょっと残念でした。
