Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk

#1)TA-4J, BuNo.158467.(standard grey/white scheme)

The aircraft is preserved and displayed in fairly good condition. However, the nose wheel doors were missing and the nose landing gear was not in good shape at the time of my photography in 2017. Still, I was able to take a lot of good walk-around photos as shown below.

#2)TA-4J, (camouflaged aircraft in two tones of blue)

I photographed a couple of TA-4J Skyhawks, which are camouflaged in two tones of blue as shown above. One of them is the BuNo.154342(above right), and the museum's explanation board describes-- "This aircraft was one of the last active Skyhawks in service. Her last flight was April 24th 2003, flying from NAS.Roosevelt Roads, VC-8, Puerto Rico, to March Field Air Museum. They both retained its original paint scheme seen at the time of their retirement. The both aircraft have large blade antennas in black in the middle of upper fuselage.
