#1) Austrian Air Force "3G-EF"

This PC-6 Turbo-Porter was displayed at Zeltweg airshow in Austria in 2011.
Naturally, this aircraft was still in active service with the Austrian Air Force.
The aircraft was on static display and was surrounded by fences, so I was not able to get closer to the aircraft.
Fortunately, all cabin doors and a part of engine covers were displayed in open position, so I was able to photograph the inside partially.
オーストリアのZeltweg基地で行われた2011年のエアショーで地上展示されていた、オーストリア空軍のPC-6ターボポーターです。
機体の周りはフェンスで囲われていたため、機体の下にもぐり込んで胴体下面を撮るとか、キャビン内を撮るなどは出来ませんでした。
よって、ほとんどはフェンスの外から望遠レンズで各部を拡大するしかありません。
でも有難いことに、エンジンカバーやキャビンドアが全部開いていて、中が見えるように展示されていました。
キャビン内に何やら機材（カメラかな？）が据え付けてありましたが、詳細は全くわかりません。

#2) "JA8221" (National Institute of Polar Research, 国立極地研究所)

This "JA8221" was built in 1978 and imported to Japan for use by the "National Institute of Polar Research".
The aircraft had been operated in the Antarctic zone for eleven years and retired with its total flying hours of 1,757hrs.
The aircraft is now displayed at an museum near Komatsu airport/Air Base in very good conditions.
"Max Decals" #4824 covers the decals for this JA8221 in 1/48 scale.
小松空港の直ぐ近くにある石川県立航空プラザに展示されている"JA8221"です。
本機は国立極地研究所が輸入した2機のターボポーターの内の1機ですが、一号機の本機は1978年に製造されました。
11年間南極の空を飛び、総飛行時間が1､757時間でリタイアしたそうです。
非常に良い状態で保存されており、航空プラザの二階からガラス越しになりますが機体上面も撮影できます。
本機の1/48スケールのデカールが"Max Decals"（#4824）から発売されています。
その内小生も是非ローデンのキットでこの機体を作りたいです。
