AJSF 37 is an upgraded version of the SF 37 photo recon a/c.
The a/c on display at Hermeskeil museum was surrounded by
fences around it, but I had permission to take photos inside
the fences. The paint colour on the a/c had faded only a little,
and the a/c still retained its original colours and markings.
I was so excited to photograph the "Photo Recon" version of the
Viggen.
ドイツの片田舎にあるこの博物館には、比較的珍しい写真
偵察型のビゲンが柵に囲まれて展示されていました。柵の
存在は事前に知っていたので、博物館に事前にコンタクトを取り、柵内での撮影許可をいただいてから出掛けて行き
ました。現地でいきなり断られても困るので、念のため『お土産』も持参しましたがね。小生が訪問した時点では
まだ現役時代の塗装とマーキングがあまり退色もなく保存されていましたが、屋外展示のため雨水による若干の汚れ
が機体下面に認められました。でも模型製作用の細部写真を写すぶんには、充分良好な保存状態でした。かなり興奮
して、暑さも忘れて、機体全面を写しまくったのを想い出します。１時間半もビゲンの周りにへばり付きました。

#2) JA 37 Viggen 17-#31 (37431)

This Viggen was preserved in VERY good condition in a small
aviation museum next to Graz airport in Austria. the a/c was displayed in a clumped and limitted space of a small
hangar, so I was not able to take walk around photos all around
the a/c. This a/c is fitted with a fixed ventral gondola to house
KCA 30mm cannon.
このビゲンはオーストリアの観光小都市グラーツの国際空港に
隣接する小さな航空博物館内に大事に保管されていました。
小さな格納庫内に十数機がすし詰め状態で展示されており、
残念ながら写真撮影は難しいです。よって本機のほんの一部
しか紹介できません。この機体には胴体下面にゴンドラが固定されていて、現役時代にはその中に30mm機関砲が装備
されていたはずです。本機はスウェーデンからグラーツの空港に直接飛来して博物館入りしたそうですが、その後ずっと
格納庫内に保管されており、外観は現役時代そのままに残されています。

#2) AJSH 37 Viggen 21-#57 (37918)

This Viggen had been preserved in a museum hangar after its
arrival from Sweden in 2006, so the condition was VERY good at the time of my
visit to the Newark Air Museum. This a/c was still fitted with
the Long-range camera pod under the right fuselage pylon.
スウェーデン空軍独特の折れ線迷彩を残したビゲンがイング
ランド中部のNewark Air Museumに大事に保管されていました。
この博物館には2007年と2015年の二回訪問しました。
館員の方の話では、この機体は2006年にスウェーデン空軍のパイロット
によりスウェーデン側の全額費用負担で、博物館に隣接する
短い滑走路に直接飛来したそうです。こんなに小さな飛行場に
着陸出来るなんてさすがビゲンです。撮影時点では飛来時の
外観をほとんどそのままに残しており、塗り替えは全くされていません。胴体下の右側パイロンにはカメラポッドが装着
されており、これもスウェーデン側が気前良く機体とセットで博物館に寄贈されたようです。
