I photographed the following two Westland Whirlwind HAR.10 rescue helicopters in England in July 2014.
The following walk-around photos are combination of these two Whirlwind helicopters (XJ729/XP299).
I put the serial numbers superimposed on each photo for your reference.

"XJ729", RAF Waddington airshow

I took walk-around photos of this Whirlwind HAR.10 "XJ729" which was displayed at RAF Waddington airshow in July 2014.
"XJ729" served with No.22 Squadron from 1962 until it was withdrawn from service in 1981.
It was later sold into private ownership, re-registered as "G-BVGE" and restored in its former SAR colors.
Based in Somerset it is currently the only Whirlwind still flying.
元英空軍のWhirlwind HAR.10 "XJ729"救難ヘリが2014年7月のRAF Waddingtonエアショーで地上展示されました。
本機は1962年から第22飛行隊で運用され、1981年に現役からリタイアしたそうです。
その後、民間に払い下げられて個人所有者に買い取られました。
民間レジは"G-BVGE"です。本機は現在（2014年時点）でも飛行可能な唯一のWhirlwindだそうです。
"XP299", RAF Museum Hendon

This "XP299" made its first flight on 28MAY61 and delivered to the Royal Air Force.
It served with several different units within the RAF including No.22 Squadron for SAR duties during 1971-1981.
It was withdrawn from service in 1981 and then transferred to Cosford for the Aerospace Museum.
"XP299" is still preserved in very good condition.
2014年7月にRAF Museum Hendon（ロンドン郊外）で撮影した"XP299"です。
保存状態は非常に良好ですが、本機の周りに別の展示物が近接しており、撮影はとてもしずらかったです。
博物館の解説文によると、本機は28MAY61に初飛行を行い、その後RAFに納入されて、現役時代には色々な部隊で運用されていました（詳細は割愛）。
一番長く配属されていたのは救難飛行隊である第22飛行隊で、1971年から1981年の現役引退まで救難任務に就いていたそうです。
