I took the top two photos in California at the beginning of the 1990s.
These two C-119s were once operated by the Hemet Valley Flying Service, and I photographed them soon after they retired from the fire fighting services.
In November 2017, I visited Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Arizona,
and I took a lot of walk-around photos of the former "Tanker #81"(see photo at bottom left) which still retained its attractive paint scheme of the "Hemet Valley Flying Service".
All the following photos were taken at Pima at that time.
I took some photos of the lower surface of the fuselage in order to confirm the shape/appearance of the doors for the watertank.
I plan to build an Itareli's C-119 kit in 1/72 scale sometime during 2018
and I intend to finish it with the paint scheme of the "Hemet Valley Flying Service" by using DRAW Decal's 72s-C119-2.
昨年（2017年）秋にツーソンのPima Air Museumを訪問しましたが、そこに展示されていた元"Hemet Valley Flying Service"社の森林消火機（下段左写真）を見て、
急にムラムラとこのカラースキームにてプラモを作りたくなりました。
同社の森林消火型C-119は1990年代初頭にロスアンゼルス近郊の飛行場で撮影しており（上段２枚の写真）その当時の想い出が懐かしく蘇ってきました。
ピマの展示機は動翼部がボロボロになっていましたが、各部の細部写真を一生懸命撮ってきましたので、それを以下に掲載致します。
輸送機や哨戒機を森林消火機に改造する場合、その多くは消化剤タンクを胴体下面に出っ張った形で取り付けていますが、このC-119はその出っ張りが一切ありません。
そこで、消化剤を放出する胴体下のドアの外観形状を確認するため、胴体下もしっかり撮影しました。
また、今年作る予定のプラモでは機体全面に細かいリベットを付けるつもりなので、表面のリベットラインが後で読み取れるように気を付けながら撮影しました。
デカールはDRAW Decal社から"Hemet Valley Flying Service"社のそのものズバリのデカールが発売されています。

I took walk-around photos of the C-119G displayed at March Field Air Museum in November 2017.
I do not know the details/history of this particular aircraft.
