The first HH-60J Jayhawk entered USCG service in June 1990. Production ended in 1996 after 42 helicopters were
produced. The "MT-60T" Medium Range Recovery Helicopter upgrade program began in 2007 and is scheduled to
provide upgraded avionics (including a glass cockpit) and operational capabilities to all 42 existing HH-60J airframes
by 2015. As each airframe upgrade is completed, the affected HH-60J will be re-designated to "MH-60T".
I'm very interested in building a 1/48 MH-60T model converted from a Skunk Models HH-60J kit in future.
米沿岸警備隊では1990年よりHH-60J Jayhawkの運用を開始し、計42機のHH-60Jを配備しました。その後機体のアップ
グレード計画が立ち上がり、2007年よりHH-60Jの近代化改修が始まりました。残存する全てのHH-60Jを2015年までに
改修する計画で、改修後の機体は"MH-60T"と呼称も変更されました。小生はスカンクモデルのHH-60J(1/48)に小改造
を加えてMH-60Tを作りたいと計画しています。

This MH-60T was displayed at Miramar airshow in 2011.
With great help of the crew members attended with the
MH-60T, I was able to take a lot of walk-around photos
of this a/c including complete external details as well as
cockpit and cabin details. You can recognize some notice
able differences from the HH-60J such as a glass cockpit,
trakkabeam searchlight(mounted on the starboard nose)
and additional antennas.
2011年のミラマーエアショーに展示されたサンディエゴ
基地のMH-60Tを撮影しました。広い展示エプロンの隅っこ
に展示されていた本機は見学者が少なく撮影には都合が良かったです。暇そうにアテンドしていたクルーのサポート
をいただき、機体の外表面のみならず操縦席やキャビン内の細部写真もしっかり写すことが出来ました。以下写真の
最後の８枚（機体上面写真）はビデオ動画から起こした静止画なので、画質がイマイチですが悪しからず。HH-60J
（近代化改修前）と比べて外観上の相違点も以下細部写真から確認できます。目立つ点としてはグラスコックピット
や機首右下に装着されたTrakkabeamサーチライトとか機体各部のアンテナ増設などです。

This MH-60T was displayed at Nellis Air Show in 2012.
Unfortunately, this MH-60T carried the intake/exhaust
covers, and I was not able to photograph the details
of them.
2012年のネリスエアショーに展示されたサンディエゴ
基地のMH-60Tを撮影しました。残念ながら本機はエンジン
の吸気口と排気口にカバーが掛けられた状態で展示され
たため、その部位の細部は撮影出来ませんでした。胴体
上部も頑張って写真を撮りました
