I photographed the following three Sea Hawks at Aviation museums in England during June/July 2014.
The following walk-around photos are combination of these three Sea Hawks ("WV856" of FGA.6 and "WM969" & "WM913" of FB.5).
I put the serial numbers superimposed on each photo for your reference.
2014年夏に英国の航空博物館で計三機のシーホークを撮影しました。
型式は異なりますが、本ページにはこれら三機(WV856/WM969/WM913)の細部写真を取り混ぜて掲載しています。各写真には機体のシリアルを記載しました。
"WV856" Sea Hawk FGA.6

This "WV856" is displayed in the museum's Carrier exhibition which is very dark.
Fortunately, there are no barriers to impede close-up photography.
The aircraft is preserved and displayed in very good condition with its wings in "folded" position as shown on the photo at left.
本機は英海軍航空の根拠地とも言えるヨービルトンのFleet Air Arm Museumに展示されています。
本機が展示されている展示館は空母の甲板を模しており、非常に暗い展示環境です。
よってストロボ発光は不可欠ですが、それでは機体下側の明るいグレー部分が白く飛んでしまい、
パネルラインなどの細部が潰れてしまいます。でもこの撮影条件ではやむを得ませんのでご容赦ください。
"WM969" Sea Hawk FB.5

This "WM969" was delivered to the Royal Navy in 1954, serving with 898 Sqdn aboard HMS.Albion during 1954-56.
A further period was spent with 811 Sqdn on HMS Centaur before the aircraft joined 806 Sqdn, initially at Lossiemouth, and later on HMS Eagle until 1958.
From 1964 to 1976 "WM969" was with the School of Aircraft Handling at Culdrose before being transferred to the Imperial War Museum.
The aircraft is currently(2014) displayed in very good condition at Duxford.
本機は1954年に英海軍に納入され、それ以降898飛行隊（HMS.Albion）、811飛行隊（HMS Centaur）、806飛行隊（HMS Eagle）で運用されたとのこと。
その後1964から1976年の期間はカルドローズにあるSchool of Aircraft Handlingで教材として使われた後、この博物館に引き渡されたそうです。
2014年時点では非常に良好な状態で屋内に展示されたいました。
"WM913" Sea Hawk FB.5

As you can see from a photo at left, this Sea Hawk was displayed in a VERY cramped hangar together with many other aircraft on display,
so I made difficult efforts to take walk-around photos of this aircraft.
It was built as Sea Hawk "FB.3" in 1953/54, and was operated by 806 and 897 Squadrons.
The aircraft was converted from FB.3 to FB.5 in 1957.
It was then operated by 700 and 736 Sqdn until 1960, and it was grounded after that.
The aircraft was finally transferred to Newark Air Museum in 1984.
左の写真の如く、本機はとにかく狭苦しいハンガーの片隅に押し込まれたように保管されており、細部写真を撮るのに大変苦労しました。
でも屋内にずっと保管されていたようで、状態は悪くありません。
本機は1953/54年頃に"FB.3"として製造され、1957年に"FB.5"へアップグレードされました。
本機の現役時代は806と897飛行隊（FB.3時代）更に、700と736飛行隊（FB.5自ダウ）で運用されていたそうです。
その後1960年以降は地上での教材や展示機として過ごし、1983年にここの博物館に買い取られたとのこと。
